The critically-acclaimed Malayalam police drama ‘Ronth,’ which has been making waves in theaters, is all set to extend its reach with a digital debut. Starring Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan, this gripping night-patrol story will be available for streaming on JioHotstar from July 22nd, 2025.

‘Ronth,’ which had its theatrical release on June 13th, 2025, has been praised for its intense narrative and compelling performances. The film, directed by Yohannan, follows a group of policemen as they navigate the challenges of their night-patrol duties in Kerala.

In addition to the original Malayalam version, ‘Ronth’ will also be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages, making it accessible to a wider audience. This move is part of a growing trend in the Indian entertainment industry, where films are increasingly being made available across multiple linguistic regions.

“We are thrilled to bring ‘Ronth’ to our viewers on JioHotstar,” said Krisha Kurup, Head of Content Acquisition at JioHotstar. “The film has been received very well in theaters and we believe it will resonate with our audience online as well.”

With its gripping narrative, stellar performances, and broad linguistic reach, ‘Ronth’ is poised to make a significant impact on the Indian OTT landscape when it debuts on JioHotstar on July 22nd, 2025.
