In a significant development that is affecting thousands of passengers, various airlines have cancelled flights to and from the Gulf region following the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The disruption started on Monday night and has continued into the present day, impacting flight services to destinations such as Doha (Qatar), Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), and Muscat (Oman) from Kerala, India.

The cancellation of flights is a precautionary measure due to the evolving situation in the Middle East, according to airline officials. The escalation began with a missile attack by Iran on US military bases in Qatar, a retaliatory strike in response to American bombings of Iranian nuclear sites.

Passengers are advised to regularly check their flight status via the airline’s official website for any updates or changes. This disruption is expected to cause significant inconvenience to travelers planning trips during this period and could potentially impact tourism and trade between India and the Gulf countries.

The Kerala government, in coordination with the Civil Aviation Department of India, is actively monitoring the situation and working to minimize the impact on passengers. More information regarding alternative travel arrangements or compensation for affected passengers is expected to be announced soon.
